DEFINITION

The Stockbridge Airco belt driven fan type DIDW is a high volume centrifugal fan with either aerofoil (CBA) or laminar (CBL) impeller. The more commonly used aerofoil impeller is specified for heating and ventilating applications on clean air/gases. With a relatively low fan height, the DIDW is the ideal compact air mover for packaged air handling units (AHUs).

The range of CMB fans is supplied in sizes from 300 mm to 900 mm, handling pressures up to 750 Pa and volumes up to 43,000 m3/hr. Bespoke variations can also be supplied.
