DEFINITION
The
Stockbridge Airco forward-curved multi-vane centrifugal fan
type CMB is specified for high volume low pressure clean air
applications. As a slow speed fan, it meets industrial needs
for a relatively quiet high volume fan. The standard fan specification
includes top quality British manufactured Brookhansen motors,
drives and S.K.F.bearings. Belt drive arrangements can be
supplied with pulleys selected to give the optimum fan speed
from a standard motor drive. A direct driven arrangement is
also available as a more compact and economical option where
a suitable motor speed matches the required fan speed.
The
range of CMB fans is supplied in sizes from 300 mm to 900
mm, handling pressures up to 750 Pa and volumes up to 43,000
m3/hr. Bespoke variations can also be supplied.
