DEFINITION
The
Stockbridge Airco recirculating axial fan type RCA is a plug
fan fitted with guide vanes to give a maximum operational
efficiency and is specified for for use in hot air flows.
Typical
applications include ovens, dryers and polymerising equipment
in the process industries. The direct drive RCA fan is suitable
for operating temperatures up to 250°C.
The
stainless steel variant of this fan can typically handle temperatures
upto 600oC and special arrangements can handle upto 1100°C.
