DEFINITION
The
Stockbridge Airco Limited bifurcated fan type MBF is a direct
drive axial fan where the motor is isolated from the air flow
in a radial tunnel integral with the fan case.
Typical
applications include ovens, dryers, and other equipment in
the process industries where the motors have to be protected
from hot, explosive or corrosive air and gas flows. The direct
drive MBF fan is available in a variety of material and insulation
combinations for temperatures upto 65°C, up to 150°C
or 205°C and up to 305°C.
